To mark the centennial of Damiani, the only Italian jewellery brand still owned by its founding family and renowned worldwide for its exquisite Made in Italy collections, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy has issued an exclusive commemorative stamp.

This stamp is part of the thematic series “The Excellence of the Productive and Economic System” in Italian entrepreneurship. The stamp’s vignette features the sketch of the majestic Mimosa Eternal Blue necklace, one of the 100 masterpieces from the special collection created to celebrate the brand’s first century. This collection embodies a rich history of family, craftsmanship, creativity, and passion—values that make Italy a unique country and that the Damiani family has always preserved and cherished. To mark this special occasion, the commemorative stamp will be available in various philatelic formats appealing to collectors and enthusiasts alike. These include a set that comprises multiple items such as personalised postcards and letter envelopes, a bulletin containing technical details and the history of the Maison, and a collectable card. Silvia Grassi Damiani attended the official stamp unveiling ceremony, held on Thursday, October 17, at the Sala degli Arazzi in Palazzo Piacentini, Rome—the headquarters of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The event was attended by Minister Adolfo Urso, Undersecretary of State for Philately Fausta Bergamotto, Stefano Imperatori from the State Printing and Mint Institute, and Giovanni Machetti, head of philately at Poste Italiane.
On this occasion, Silvia Grassi Damiani, Vice President of the Damiani Group, stated, “Family, craftsmanship, creativity, passion, and history: these are the values that have always distinguished us. Over these 100 years, three generations of our family have followed one another with a single purpose: to safeguard, preserve, and pass down an invaluable heritage of experience and savoir-faire. It is an inheritance and a tradition that we aim to project into the future and pass on to our children and grandchildren.” This special stamp not only celebrates the brand’s 100-year legacy but also pays tribute to the art and tradition that have kept Damiani at the forefront of fine jewellery. It symbolises a century of dedication, innovation, and commitment to maintaining the excellence of Italian craftsmanship on the global stage, reflecting the strength and resilience of a family-owned enterprise that has stood the test of time.
