Roma Jewelry Week 2025 chooses the prestigious Corsie Sistine for its October 24

A celebration of beauty, craftsmanship, and the human spirit returns to the Eternal City: Roma Jewelry Week (RJW) is back for its fifth edition, reaffirming its role as a global gathering point for lovers of contemporary, artistic, and designer jewelry. From October 24 to 26, 2025, the majestic Corsie Sistine at the Monumental Complex of Santo Spirito in Sassia will host the main exhibition, surrounded by a constellation of events, previews, and cultural happenings throughout Rome, starting from September 19. This year’s theme, “Gaudium”, the Latin term for joy, is a heartfelt tribute to Jubilee 2025. In a world often clouded by uncertainty, RJW invites us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the authentic joy that springs from creation, art, and beauty. Through jewelry, this message will resonate in exhibitions, workshops, performances, and intimate encounters across the city.

Highlights of the 2025 program – The theme of Gaudium will take shape through a rich program of exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and encounters, involving artists, designers, goldsmiths, ateliers, galleries, associations, academies, and schools from across Italy and abroad, a symphony of creativity and collaboration.

On September 19, the historic WeGil space in Rome will host the opening of an exhibition featuring works by students from high school jewelry programs, designers, and master goldsmiths. This initiative is the result of a first-time collaboration with the network PREZIOSARE (supported by the Lazio Region) and under the patronage of Fedepreziosi Roma. The exhibition, which will run until September 21, marks the beginning of a broader, deeper dialogue with local associations and communities.

On October 14, the spotlight turns to illustration, with a contest organized in collaboration with Temple University Rome. Students, illustrators, graphic designers, and creatives will compete, and their works will be showcased at the Gallery of Art within Temple University.

On October 16, at WeGil, a major conference on the state of the art in contemporary jewelry will take place. That same day, Galleria Incinque Open Art Monti will host the vernissage for the winners of the Fine Jewelry category of the 2024 Incinque Jewels Award: Matteo Vitali, François Santo, and Luigina Rech. Rech will also be celebrated for her 50-year career as a master mosaicist. Arata Fuchi, Livia D’Agostino, and Anna Paparella, winners of the Experimental Jewelry category, will also be featured in a dedicated exhibition at the same gallery.

On October 21, the atelier of Le Sibille will celebrate its 35th anniversary with the opening of the exhibition “Le Sibille: 35 Years from Rome to the World.”

A celebration at the Corsie Sistine – The emotional climax of RJW 2025 will take place from October 24 to 26 at the Corsie Sistine of the Monumental Complex of Santo Spirito in Sassia, a space of extraordinary historical and artistic value adjacent to the Vatican and home to Renaissance masterpieces and traces of Leonardo da Vinci. It’s a setting that perfectly embodies RJW’s mission to merge tangible artistic heritage with intangible cultural values. Here, alongside some of the most renowned creators in contemporary jewelry art, visitors will find the works of artists participating in the Incinque Jewels Award, now in its sixth edition. This international competition invites goldsmiths, designers, and jewelry artists from around the world to interpret the concept of Gaudium through the creation of unique pieces. Also on display will be the moving and thought-provoking creations from the Jewels for Freedom project, launched in March 2025, featuring jewelry by Elina Chauvet, Incinque Resident, and Alessio Boschi, a vivid example of jewelry as both artistic expression and social message. Great anticipation surrounds the return of the Incinque Jewels Award, which continues to evolve with a series of prestigious prizes. These include the Fine Jewelry and Experimental Jewelry categories, the Premio Mani Intelligenti for a young artist, the Milano Fashion & Jewels Award, the International Elena Donati Prize, the Lefevre Prize for Artisan Excellence, the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Main Media Partner Award, the Journal des Bijoux Award, and the Miss Giò Award.

Thanks to RJW’s growing international presence and partnerships with Florence Jewellery Week and Venice Design Week, selected artists will also be offered opportunities to exhibit at these sister events. Throughout the final three days of RJW, a series of conferences will animate the city. On Saturday, October 25, these will be moderated by Laura Astrologo Porché, international senior journalist specializing in jewelry. New this year, RJW opens up to fashion with a runway show by Domitilla Funghini titled “Sottrazioni”, adding another dimension to this celebration of wearable art. A key new feature of this fifth edition is the development of new synergies, including the partnership with Alessia Crivelli, who joins the event with a prominent role in the field of education, contributing to the development of training initiatives and the promotion of young talents. The educational dimension, which has always been an integral part of Rome Jewelry Week, is enriched by the collaboration with Barbara Brocchi, coordinator of the Jewelry Design course at IED Rome. Roma Jewelry Week is promoted and curated by the Incinque Open Art Monti Cultural Association, under the artistic direction of architect Monica Cecchini, who conceived the project as a platform to merge creativity, craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural depth. Roma Jewelry Week 2025 is held under the patronage of the Lazio Region and the Department of Major Events, Sports, Tourism, and Fashion of Roma Capitale.
