On June 19, 2025, the salons of the InterContinental Paris Le Grand were filled with a refined and select audience of creators, artisans, entrepreneurs, artists, and journalists who participated in a rich program of talks, followed by a sparkling Talents du Luxe et de la Création Awards Ceremony. In a world in continuous transformation, luxury is more alive than ever, celebrated for its ability to evolve with the times.
Mr. Jacques Carles takes the floor
This year’s theme, “La transmission du luxe dans un monde en mutation” (transmitting luxury in a changing world), could not have been more fitting. From fashion to fine crafts, watchmaking to gastronomy, the laureates stood as living bridges, connecting centuries of savoir-faire to a future shaped by sustainability, inclusivity, and daring innovation.
Founded by Jacques Carles and guided with vision by Dominique Lasserre, the Centre du Luxe et de la Création has long been more than an institution: it is a living circle. In its forums and gatherings, ideas collide and blend, disciplines cross-pollinate, and creators discover that tradition and modernity are not adversaries but companions on the same journey.
Each year, a jury of prominent figures from the luxury world selects the laureates, along with special jury distinctions.
Among the judges were Jacques Carles, Dominique Lasserre, Corentin Quideau (Founder of Corentin Quideau Consulting), and Alberto Cavalli (General Director of Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’arte and Executive Director of the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship).
The 2025 Laureates
That night sparkled with excitement, as everyone awaited the results with emotion and suspense. The wait was short, and we soon discovered the newly awarded laureates.
Hugo Volpei of Trone received the Talent de l’Audace, redefining audacity with a vision that marries functionality and artistry.
In Talent du Bien-être, the jury gave an ex aequo award to Frédéric Mané, a designer of jewelry, watches and precious objects, famous worldwide for his symbolic and opulent creations, and Pierre Gonalons, an interior architect whose work transcends mere spaces.

Bastien Blanc-Tailleur, a pastry chef whose creations are pure poetry, shared the Talent de l’Élégance award with Fabio Ottaviano, a Maestro engraver of cameos, who is breathing new life into this ancient craft.
“I am honored to receive the ‘Talents du Luxe et de la Création’ 2025 award, which celebrates creativity and excellence in the world of luxury. My work seeks to unite ancient craftsmanship with a contemporary vision, creating cameos that honor tradition while embracing innovation. This recognition inspires me to keep looking ahead, without ever forgetting my roots“, Ottaviano declared to the writer after the recognition.

The Talents de l’Harmonie shone through Giampaolo Babetto, an inspired avant-garde goldsmith, (Maestro of the renowned Padua School), and Ionna Vautrin, a designer who creates industrial objects that feel deeply personal.

Virginie Lagerbe, with her Pérégreen plant-based dyeing innovations, earned the Talent de l’Invention, proving that sustainability and luxury are not just compatible, but inseparable.
Aurélia Leblanc, blending aloe vera, metal, glass, ceramic, and feathers in avant-garde textiles, claimed the Talent de l’Innovation.
Marine Billet’s project Incarnem, won the Talent de l’Originalité, while Riccardo Bisazza, President of Orsoni Venezia, captured the essence of rarity in his craft and earned the Talent de la Rareté.
There was seduction, too, embodied in the daringly exquisite high jewelry of Anna Hu, awarded by Corentin Quideau and Kyra Brenzinger for the Talent de la Séduction, and strategic brilliance honored in Romain Gazzola, founder of the Collectif de l’Orfèvrerie, who took home the Talent du Management.

There were also some special distinctions:
Anne de Vandière captured the soul of craft through her lens, earning the Prix des Métiers d’Art.
The Prix du Jury went ex aequo to Pierre-Alain Bérard, the force behind LIP and SMB, and Jean-Baptiste Lecaillon, the mastermind cellar director at Champagne Louis Roederer.
Paul de Livron’s bespoke Apollo Wooden Wheelchairs and Alix Dumas’s striking high jewelry for Maison Alix Dumas shared the Empreinte de l’Année.
And finally, the Talent d’Or was awarded to Alain Passard, the legendary chef of Arpège, whose cuisine remains as timeless as it is inventive.
At the heart of the ceremony stood the trophy, an object that is more than a prize. Conceived by past laureates Alain Motti and Thierry & Laurent Delles, it represents the symbol of infinity, a quiet but powerful reminder that luxury, when rooted in purpose and artistry, knows no end. It is a reflection of the endless dialogue between heritage and innovation, of craftsmanship continually reborn through fresh ideas and boundless imagination.
The evening’s winners did not merely leave with recognition; they became part of the Cercle du Luxe et de la Création, a fellowship of artisans, designers, and visionaries. It is a space where ideas grow, collaborations bloom, and the meaning of luxury is endlessly redefined. As the last applause faded in the salons of the InterContinental, one truth lingered: luxury is not a static monument; it is a living force. It evolves through courage, care, and creativity. The 2025 Talents du Luxe et de la Création laureates remind us that luxury’s greatest strength lies in its ability to be both infinite and intimate, an art without limits, shaped by hands, hearts, and minds that dare to dream.
